Took tomorrow off from work. Going to a cook-out and then to one of Cindi's friends to use the pool. Not that I'll miss work and it's lack of air-conditioning at all!

Cindi, my roommate just got a kitten, so we now have three cats. Her name is Toma, which according to legend is the name of the original "beckoning cat." It's also the most most popular cat name in Japan. Fluffy of course hated her instantly, and Shima has a new playmate, though she wants to be a bit rougher than Toma is ready for. She is only 7 weeks old after all.

We'll be having a couple of friends living with us for a couple of months, Kasi and Taisia. Should be interesting... But won't be lonely.

Also went to see Blue Man Group with my boyfriend in Boston a couple of weeks ago. Was literally the best thing I think I've ever seen on stage. We even got to be in on one of the gags. You can also have pictures taken with the Men outside after the show, they kiss things to get a blue lip-print on it for an autograph. I just bought a mug at the giftshop... ;)

OK, so it's been almost two months.
What I've been doing.... not a lot, the usual work, home, sleep, work, home, complain about work, sleep thing.
I have seen a number of movies, although it is surprising to me that the best movie I've seen so far this year is "The Sum of All Fears"
Spider-Man was good and one of the most accurate translations of a comic book, well, since Superman, but seemed to be lacking something, soul maybe? It was another Hollywood-blockbuster-special-effects-movie, and of course, the HULK teaser was good. :)
Scooby-Doo was fun... but I think I'm the only one I know who likes the cartoon, the villian was a surprise for me though.
The Bourne Identity was also fun, though a couple of glaring plot holes do mar it.
